St Geroge Mortgage Broker for Mortgages in St. George

Financing St George for Over 20 Years

Hi, I'm Amanda. Whether you're buying your first or next home, taking equity out of your existing home or your St George mortgage is up for renewal, I can help you. I can even get you a bad credit mortgage I work with over 100 lenders to find the best possible rate and flexible options for your needs.

I'm still shocked by the number of people who still go to their bank to get a mortgage. That is not your only and especially not your best option. When was the last time you remember a bank saving you money? The bank will gladly show you all sorts of 'options', but these options are only variations of the one and only product the bank has to offer you. Is their 'best rate' truly the best rate on the market? Will being loyal to your bank save you, or cost you money? Just like every other product you purchase, a wise consumer will shop around. Let me do that shopping for you!

In these tough economic times, I want only the very best for you and your family. My job as your St George mortgage agent is to find you the lowest possible mortgage rate and to save you your time and the frustration of looking around. Through my experience in the mortgage industry in St George I will be able to quickly deliver your options. Best of all, in almost all cases, my service is free. The lender will pay my fee.

I'm here for you, and I am available wherever and whenever it is convenient for you. I work days, evenings and even all weekend. You can apply now or pick up the phone and call me today.

About St George in Brant County

The County of Brant (2006 population 34,415) is a single-tier municipality and a census division in the Canadian province of Ontario. Despite its name, it is not a county by the standard definition, as all municipal services are handled by a single level of government. The county has service offices in Burford, Paris and St. George.

It is a small, predominantly rural municipality in Southern Ontario, approximately 100 kilometres southwest of Toronto. It is bordered by the Region of Waterloo, the City of Hamilton, Haldimand County, Norfolk County, and Oxford County.

Geographically, the city of Brantford is surrounded by the County of Brant. In Statistics Canada’s census data, the Brant census division also includes Brantford and the Six Nations and New Credit reserves, although none of these is part of Brant’s municipal government. The census division of Brant, inclusive of all four distinct municipalities, had a population of 125,099 in the 2006 census

History & Site-seeing

Brant County is home to “famous firsts” which include the first long distance telephone call; and the co-founder of the International Women’s Institute Movement. Spend the day enjoying the many historical and cultural attractions in Brant.

County of Brant Heritage Driving Tour

After years of research, writing and documenting, the heritage brochure covers over 130 properties, with a total tour length of over 200 kilometres. The tour has been broken into sections covering various areas of the County. The tour lists only some of the highlights found within the County of Brant such as the Bell Homestead, the Battle of Malcolm Mills, site of the last land battle on Canadian soil against a foreign power and the home of poetess E. Pauline Johnston on Six Nations and the beautiful downtowns of St. George, Paris and Burford. As you travel, you will also see many sites not listed, but of equal value and a rich and diverse architecture and landscape. The Brochure will be distributed to area stores, museums and tourist attractions free of charge.

Bell Homestead

In 1910, the house and surrounding lands became a memorial to Alexander Graham Bell’s achievements in telephone history, opening its doors to the general public. Restoration and an extensive collection of Bell family heirlooms, including furniture, paintings, china, silver and books, have revived the home’s 1870’s appearance, affording visitors a glimpse of a lifestyle led by this conservative, upper-middle class family.

Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead

Visit the birthplace of the co-founder of the International Women’s Institute Movement.
Travel back in time at this interactive historic house! Visitors have the unique opportunity to view original artifacts from the mid-1800s, dress in period costumes, play the antique organ, amongst other activities. Special programs can be arranged for group visits including old-fashioned ice cream making or picnics on the front lawn.

St.George – Rare Treats and Antiques

Spend a leisurely day in St.George. Reminiscent of a small, British village…begin your visit with a trip to the downtown core to search for antiques and one-of-a-kind collectibles.

Lunchtime provides visitors with traditional English fare at the local pub or an authentic tearoom. In addition, there are several other eateries to entice any palate.

End your day by visiting Orchard Home Farm Apple Orchard located just off Highway 24 north. The Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead, birthplace of the co-founder of the Women’s Institute Movement, also makes for a great stop. Or perhaps a trip to the village of Troy (just east of St.George) to visit Donn Zver Pottery.

If you visit the village in the fall, make sure to stop at the award winning Joseph Smith lily garden.

St.George is also home to two established Antique Show and Sales annually. One in April, the other on the Labour Day long weekend.
